We are thrilled to announce the recent launch of the CWGL 16 Days initiative website, which incorporates a branding and visual identity overhaul into a sleek, powerful new website for organizing and annual campaign initiatives. The site’s advanced search and filtering and interactive map help the organization serve as an umbrella for a global convening of international activists.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action the Center for Women’s Global Leadership embarked on an archival project—Global Feminist Journeys. Learn more about the project in our portfolio.
We recently finished a website overhaul for WE ACT for Environmental Justice. The new platform focuses on the organization’s incredible story and its mission to empower and organize low-income, people of color to build environmentally healthy communities. Check out the project details in our portfolio.
We’re thrilled to announce our recent work with the Safety and Justice Challenge, an initiative supported by the MacArthur Foundation with the laudable goal of changing the way America views and uses jails.
Social Ink spearheaded the web design …
Recently we launched our third website dealing with the complicated nodes of the criminal justice world in the United States. As part of our larger work with nonprofit websites, this project was another initiative of the Vera Institute of Justice: The Status Offense Reform Center (SORC).
SORC is a resource center for lawmakers, policymakers and activists interested in reforming these systems, concerned primarily with juvenile justice and the criminalizing semantics of institutional and systemic intervention. The project adds to our work with The Correctional Association and Raise the Age – NY, in addition to Vera’s JH Connect project, to provide a cohesive groundwork for reform movements in the NYC area and beyond.
This major initiative was as challenging as it is vital, as we helped to integrate a library hundreds of resources and publications into an accessible interface and built a toolkit for reform with a narrative approach. With the SORC launch, we continue to work toward our mission of providing web design for nonprofits working across the social justice spectrum.
We are pleased to announce the recent launch of UNANIMA International, a worldwide NGO working for women’s rights and human rights across the globe. We redesigned their site from the ground up, creating a CMS-powered site with an interface mirrored across four languages. Details after the jump.
