Social Ink spearheaded the web design and development for the MacArthur Foundation’s major initiative working toward nationwide jail reform. Walgreens Gone Wrong! A new consumer watchdog project and advocacy site.

Walgreens Gone Wrong is a consumer watchdog and advocacy site aiming to help Walgreens provide fair and honest services to their customers. Here is just one of their concerns:

A new study has found that more than three-quarters of Walgreens stores in some of America’s largest cities are consistently having trouble simply keeping the shelves stocked, while more than 90 percent of surveyed stores had mislabeled sale inventory.

Social Ink teamed up with Change to Win to design and develop the site, which uses a responsive framework to resize and position elements depending on screen or device resolution. In addition to responsive design, we implemented slideshows, embedded content, and a customized CMS backend for easy updates and upkeep. Read about all our work on the site on our portfolio entry, and make sure to check out the Walgreens Gone Wrong site for yourself!
