Social Ink is happy to have worked side by side with the world’s largest intergovernmental organization to create a new website for its pension fund. Serving over 125,000 active and retired United Nations employees across the world, the site will serve as a portal for the services and information offered by the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund.

The site offers content in both English and French, guiding the Fund’s participants and beneficiaries through the organization’s extensive forms, rules, and regulations. To create a user-friendly experience that made it easy for site visitors to quickly find what they were looking for, Social Ink built a logic driven interactive that leads users to specific content based on the provided user-selected data. Other key solutions for the project included low and high bandwidth browsing options, administrator designated sidebar indices and content modules, multimedia embeds, and interactive tutorials. The site is also responsive across an array of phones, tablets, monitors, and other screens.

We’re proud to have built this expansive flagship site for the Fund and continue our work on websites for large NGOs, IGOs, nonprofits and foundations!

Donald Katz: Homepage - Websites for Creatives by Social Ink

Donald Katz is a journalist, author, and founder of Audible.com. His 1992 book, Home Fires, has been reissued this year.

We worked alongside Donald’s staff and media team to create a personal brand, identity and website. The site provides a writerly presence on the web, and a place to showcase the many facets of his work: as author & journalist, Audible.com founder, and promoter of the city of Newark, New Jersey, where Audible’s headquarters were moved in 2007.

Specialty work on the project included a two-pronged navigation system, embedded social media and video, and a flexible production environment responsive to the timelines involved with a major book release.

As part of our work designing and developing websites for creatives, including writers and new media professionals, it’s been great working with Donald and team. We encourage you to visit Don’s new site and explore his rich body of work. From essays and articles, to Home Fires and other books, to work with Audible — in Newark, and beyond!
