The Equity Project’s new website represents Social Ink’s work with nonprofits that advocate for LGBT youth.

About the Work

The Equity Project is an initiative to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth in juvenile delinquency courts are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.

Social Ink is excited to create a web platform for The Equity Project, a nonprofit organization that examines how issues of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression affect youth as they move through the juvenile delinquency system. The organization provides information on state and local juvenile justice agency LGBT and nondiscrimination policies as well as training materials and technical assistance for jurisdictions.

We worked with The Equity Project’s leaders and organizational partners to overhaul the site with a new design and information architecture schema. The site is responsive across phones, tablets, and monitors.

The Equity Project’s new site represents Social Ink’s work in the space between nonprofits, government agencies, and legal jurisdictions.
