Breast Cancer Family Registry

About the Work

Columbia University’s Breast Cancer Family Registry exists to realize the full potential of collaborative research involving breast cancer families — to reduce the global impact of the disease.

In order to realize this vision, Columbia and the BCFR  partners approached Social Ink to brand, design and develop an information-based site, with an extendable codebase for future interaction and resource-building. By incorporating a customized CMS backend for easy staff control, a high resolution slideshow, partner buttons, and content templates, the site provides access for participants and researchers, highlighting grants and publications in addition to background information and contact forms.

The BCFR is funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, and the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
