asap/ is a collaborative design practice founded in 2007 in Buffalo, New York, USA, with a second office located in Los Angeles. They seek to identify and advance design opportunities to develop the art and craft of design at all scales — from tableware to entire cities, while also reinterpreting and re-energizing programmatic imperatives. Their work is devoted to understanding and contributing to existing cultural and architectural contexts while deploying advanced design and construction technology in ways appropriate to contemporary life.

asap, a design and architecture practice based in Buffalo needed help translating their great design aesthetic to the web. Social Ink developed their designs in the user-friendly WordPress CMS. Features of the site include predictive search using asap’s selected keywords and an easily navigation for projects, journal, and media interface. The site is mobile and responsive across an array browsers, screens, phones, and tablets.

We’re happy to have worked on this unique project with asap. Social Ink is always ready to dive into development of websites for small businesses!

Kids In Sports

From our Portfolio

Kids In Sports is a specialized sports program for children ages 12 months to 12 years. A venture of former New York City physical education teachers, KS offers pre-school alternative and after-school programs, instructing children in multi or sport specific classes focusing on baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, and more.

We worked with regional youth and toddler athletics franchise Kids In Sports to redesign a user friendly web platform. Key features of the project included a holistic approach to User Experience, with careful consideration for the distinct audiences for the site: potential customers (parents and caregivers), potential investors (franchise creators), and existing customers.

Our design work focused on creating more integrated e-commerce options, a blog, multimedia, and bringing to the fore the distinct approach and value of Kids in Sports compared to similar companies on the market.

The site is mobile and responsive across various screens and browsers. The result of our work was a future-facing site that is easy for parents and franchisees to use and engage with the company. We’re happy to continue work on websites for community-driven small businesses like Kids in Sports!

As part of our work providing high quality websites for business, we love working with the team at Gradian, and helping them provide cutting edge technologies to doctors and hospitals around the world.

Ketuv offers a fine arts option for couples seeking Ketubahs (documents formalizing a marriage under Jewish law). Led by dynamic co-founders Arielle and Maya, Ketuv offers unique opportunities for artists and a one-of-a-kind artwork and document for couples.

Ketuv reached out to Social Ink to analyze their site and offer a consultation regarding their user interface, particularly on the homepage and blog. After a thorough review, we suggested opening up the site with better margins and more space, making typography changes, and implementing a cascading grid of products, among other refinements.

Following up on our review, we massaged the site’s existing code to implement the changes and revitalize the site.
