We’re excited to continue our relationship with BoardAssist, a nationally recognized organization that helps nonprofits and board members connect with one another!

Social Ink spearheaded the web design and development for the MacArthur Foundation’s major initiative working toward nationwide jail reform. Working alongside policy and research leaders at the Vera Institute of Justice, the website provides a staging platform for the grant-seeking competition, as well as issue-related resources, research and reports, and as an ongoing way to track progress by selected jurisdictions.

As the summer winds down, we’re happy to unveil our latest project with New York-based BoardAssist:

BoardAssist, a New York based nonprofit corporation, is the leading personalized board recruiting resources available to the tri-state nonprofit community. We offer New Yorkers who want to make a real change in the nonprofit world a wide selection of board options and advice on selecting the right one for them.

Our nonprofit clients range from start-up organizations to some of the most established names in the nonprofit community, and serve interest areas from arts and education to the environment and poverty relief. Though most BoardAssist clients are New York-based, they serve locally, nationally and internationally.

Head along to the BoardAssist portfolio page to see the work we did with the organization, including redeveloping the application process, creating an image-rich, user friendly website that’s easily updatable from anywhere, and a sparkling new visual identity.

No Small Change: A Website for a (Giving) Revolution

Social Ink is pleased to once again support the efforts of FEX: The Funding Exchange, a national membership organization of regionally based social justice foundations. You can Read more about our work on the this new project on our portfolio page or click on over to the site!

In our latest collaboration, we developed a microsite for the No Small Change targeted fundraising drive. This project connects grantees, donors, and activists to foster interest among these vital groups. By developing a sense of community and participation among potential donors through an interactive, playful, and bold web interface, FEX again extends its reach to everyday giving.

Based on the demand from one of our recent clients, the Funding Exchange, we decided to polish up and release a plugin we found lacking around the Internet: our Simple Authorize Payments WordPress plugin. In just a few short minutes, our plugin offers a bolt-on solution to accept donations/contributions, including recurring billing, using Authorize.net, one of the most trusted and reliable names in online merchant solutions.

FEX website launches!

Social Ink is pleased to announce the launch of www.fex.org, a nonprofit organization provinding a “network of community foundations that engage activists to determine which organizations and issues need financial support.” Social Ink designed a new logo and branding guidelines and developed the CMS-powered website, featuring capabilities to apply for grants; targeted giving for donors, a newsletter and mailing list integration; a blog with guest contributors.

We are excited to announce the recent launch of The Life Lover Foundation, funding new and novel approaches to cancer research. We are proud to have reshaped their organizational identity and developed a dynamic, CMS-driven website for their online outreach.
