Summer is upon us in New York, and Social Ink is celebrating six great years as a business. To coincide with our anniversary, we're delighted to unveil our brand new website! In addition to being a responsive site - that works across various mobile devices, desktop resolutions and browsers - the new site better showcases our various work, services, process, and clients. (We even updated new profile pictures, gosh, how we've aged!) We've added interesting client studies, which detail the evolution of different sites, and added two new plugins, our Advanced Stripe Payments Engine WordPress, a sophisticated, easily customizable payment system for websites, and Sinking Dropdowns Wordpress, a free plugin to convert WordPress menus to responsive dropdown menus. Social Ink is proud to continue our efforts in Community and Education work with the launch of a new website for The Pinkerton Foundation. Established in 1966, the foundation:

supports community-based programs for children, youth and families in economically disadvantaged areas in New York City.  Although we consider a wide range of youth development initiatives, Pinkerton favors direct-service programs that have one overriding goal: to help young people reach their full potential. Most of the programs we support take place in the after-school, weekend or summer hours and focus on providing opportunities for academic development, career readiness and cultural enrichment. We also support a number of programs that offer a way forward for young people after an encounter with the criminal justice system or years in foster care.

The Kidney Research Institute is a collaboration between Northwest Kidney Centers and UW Medicine focused on developing early detection, prevention and treatment of kidney disease and its complications. The Kidney Research Institute brings together scientists in clinical medicine, pharmacology, genetics, pathology, psychology, education and physiology working closely with basic scientists in bioengineering, biochemistry, immunology, genomics and other disciplines.
