Here we go again, spring is in the air, and Social Ink has released its newest plugin, yContributors.

yContributors creates a one-step author or contributors archive page that enables you to show any number of recent posts by each author, along with profile information pulled from each user’s wordpress user profile. This plugin shows all your members, either in table or descending form, with a jQuery searchable autocomplete-style (type and find) way to get to members. Options include excluding certain members, showing latest posts and author statistics. Also, works with User Photos Plugin (unrelated to this) to display profile photos.

Please follow the rabbit down the hole to our shop to download yContributors!

And one more feature request — is there a way to alter the sorting, so that people with more posts are listed first?

Useful plug-in, but I have two feature requests.
I’d like to add contact information to the list of authors. Is there a way to either:
    * Link from their name to their bio info, which contains an email addy
    * Add a “Contact” column for each author

Also, I have standing text at the top of my Contributors’ page, above the shortcode… but the generated code seems to be taking precedence, forcing the standing text to the bottom of the list of contributors.
Is there anything I can adjust to get things back in order?

    Thanks,
    Art

Is there a way to make it show ALL authors, even those without posts? Currently mine only shows users WITH posts

  4. Hi,

Great looking plugin. However, when activating the plugin I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/ycontributors/ycontributors.php on line 359

Thoughts on how I can get around this?

  5. This is very beneficial for us authors! Thanks for sharing.
