What We Do
Social Ink was founded as a boutique web and design shop that directly serves the non-profit and small business community in New York City. Our offices are in DUMBO, Brooklyn and we work primarily with organizations that can’t retain an in-house web, communications, or IT department.
We provide full service web design, development, and visual identity solutions, from concept to launch. We will work with you to develop a communications strategy, design a new logo and branding guidelines, organize your content, and develop an intuitive, consistent interface optimized for accessibility and extendability down the road.
We build websites using Content Management Systems which give you control of your content and enable anyone on staff to add and edit content – no coding required.
Social Ink always works in a collaborative, iterative process with our clients. When you contact us about a future project, you can be assured that we will work with you every step of the way until we complete. This is part of our collective philosophy – the same ethos we apply to our work internally, at our office, we apply to the client. We are informed by our work with educational institutions and non-profit organizations, understanding the needs of large organizations, often with limited budgets.

Community Outreach
In addition to community classes at local schools and organizations, Social Ink strives to help organizations with limited budgets but vital community ties.
We live and work in Brooklyn and have an overwhelming love for New York City. We are a product of local schools and remain active in community affairs. Ties to local organizations like the The Public School NYC and the Park Slope Food Co-op sustain us both as an organization and as committed individuals.
Other Partnerships
Social Ink is always on the lookout for exciting parternships with local and national design and web firms. In the past, we’ve worked with Paperwhite Studio and several others. If you’re interested in working us–if you think we can help you realize your client’s development or design needs–please be in touch!
