Social Ink worked with StudyLogic to convert their in-house design to a full fledged CMS powered website. Employing complex, navigation-based slideshows, carousels, and different templates for research, news and other services, Social Ink’s development has given Study Logic a new platform for business development.
Social Ink built parallel advocacy sites in support of pending state legislation in New York and New Jersey to eliminate subsidies and tax breaks to businesses outsourcing labor. This project continues our series of efficient, flexible, CMS powered advocacy sites helping to stir political action and participation. Features include slideshow, news feed, twitter feed, and integrated petitions.
The ILSB is a startup venture by Krystle Cadogan, creating a resource to help law students navigate the pressure and stress of the law school process. This soup-to-nuts project involved visual identity and logo creation, website design, and CMS-powered development, mixing a journalistic, online magazine approach with an active, community-oriented feel and a clean, professional appearance.
In record time, Social Ink put together an advocacy and grassroots organizing website for No More Cuts Illinois, fighting against government cuts for home care and child care funding. Social Ink developed a campaign-optimized CMS, integrating a Twitter feed and a petition platform for gathering signatures, along with news updates and contact forms for citizens to share their stories. Specific functionality included web hosting, CMS development, interface design petitions, and slideshows.
In its second collaboration with the Funding Exchange, Social Ink developed a targeted microsite for a fundraising campaign aptly titled, “No Small Change.”
Our team established a strong brand identity and functionality for the campaign that brings a fresh approach to foundation-oriented initiatives. Using social media tools and targeted giving, small donors and those who can give even more can give immediately to an array of cause-specific funds, spread the word in their own networks, and sign up for email updates.
Social Ink recently helped to develop the logo and online presence for a critical initiative of the Mental Health Association of New York City. The Coordinated Children’s Service Initiative (CCSI) works to further the system of care for children with mental health challenges in NYC through a synchronized network of services. With the design of a new logo and the institution of graphic standards, our team created a website that highlights critical information and allows for improved accessibility to resources and referrals for families. Cobblestone Foods, a local gourmet foods boutique and catering company in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, needed to revamp their website. We took their existing design and made it more consistent across the board, assisted in reconfiguring the information architecture and added photo slideshows and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques.
