Working Families

Working Families: Home - Websites for progressives and political organizaitons

“Working Families is a growing progressive political organization that fights for an economy that works for all Americans, and a democracy in which every voice matters.”

Social Ink worked alongside the communications lead for Working Families to completely overhaul their website, shifting their presence from a small, grassroots startup political organization to a powerful party with an national scope. As Working Families extends their presence, starting coalitions and outreach in an increasing number of States, the site is built to grow alongside.

Project specific design and functionality includes powerful State Hubs and dynamic sidebars for multiple feeds and filtering of content, easy to implement Action modules integrated with the Salsa platform, an information architecture filtered along States, Issues, News, and Elections, and multi-faceted Twitter integration, dynamically pulling state-centric twitter feeds. The site is responsive across phones, tablets, and monitors of all shapes and sizes, built around resolution-specific breakpoints for optimal user experience and interaction.

We are thrilled to continue our work in the progressive arena, building websites for political organizations and advocacy groups.
