Breast Cancer Family Registry Homepage - Social Ink

The vision of the Breast Cancer Family Registry is to realize the full potential of collaborative research involving breast cancer families to reduce the global impact of the disease.  In order to realize this vision, BCFR stakeholders approached Social Ink for a quick turnaround on a site launch – funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, and the United States Department of Health and Human Services.  We set them up with fully templated sites relying on open source fonts.

Waging Nonviolence

Information packed home page with clear presentation

Social Ink worked together with progressive journalism project and online magazine WNV to design a new visual identity and logo, and rebuild their existing platform, migrating over 3 years and 2000 articles into a newly categorized and easily searchable system.  The new site links related content and archived metadata in an integrated experience. Using the latest in responsive design and development, the site intelligently shifts layouts to be viewed across all mobile devices and browser sizes.

Dynamic slideshow, news & events updates, donation appeal, and more.

The NGO CSW reached out to Social Ink to redesign and rebuild their website, creating new visual identity assets and icons and re-aligning their events management flow and an integrated donations and registration payments system. This CMS-powered site with customized backend interface powers all CSW events and helps the site with outreach and organization.

Visually redefined.

BoardAssist, a nationally recognized organization that helps nonprofits and board members connect with one another, contacted Social Ink about updating their site to reflect their changing demographic and updated web standards.  Working together, we completely redesigned the BoardAssist site, including streamlining the application processes and giving BoardAssist staff full control over the various types of data they had to organize.

Correctional Assocation Home Page

The  Correctional Association of New York works for prison reform and a more humane and equitable criminal justice system.

Social Ink designed a new web-based visual identity for the organization and migrated the Association’s older site to the new WordPress Content Management System. As we worked to refine the key content delivery mechanisms and targeted audiences, we developed and launched a specialized cross-referenced resource database.

Social Ink built parallel advocacy sites in support of pending state legislation in New York and New Jersey to eliminate subsidies and tax breaks to businesses outsourcing labor. Circle of Women | Home

Circle of Women is a national nonprofit lead by an enthusiastic team of young, dedicated women, “mobilizing students to provide access to education for girls without it.” As the organization grows, they needed a more robust, media rich site, to establish their presence to donors and partners. Social Ink worked closely with board leaders and other team members to provide an easily updatable site to showcase Circle of Women’s latest projects, their staff and integrate their donation services to site databases.

In record time, Social Ink put together an advocacy and grassroots organizing website for No More Cuts Illinois, fighting against government cuts for home care and child care funding. Social Ink developed a campaign-optimized CMS,  integrating a Twitter feed and a petition platform for gathering signatures, along with news updates and contact forms for citizens to share their stories. Specific functionality included web hosting, CMS development, interface design petitions, and slideshows.

Campaign for Children NYC

Campaign for Children NYC - Home

The Emergency Coalition to Save Child Care advocates teamed up the NYC Youth Alliance to create the Campaign for Children NYC, an initiative aimed at influencing Mayor Bloomberg to fully fund child care and after-school programs.

In record time, Social Ink launched the site, which integrates Facebook and Twitter feeds, along with sign-up for an e-newsletter, to help get the word out. Specific functionality includes CMS development, interface design, embedded video, and custom slideshows.
